Find Out if the Shake Weight for Men Will Revolutionize Your Workout or if This is Just the Latest “As Seen on TV” Fad…

May 20, 2012

Hey, Dan here.  And that’s my girlfriend Michelle.  Welcome to our site.

You probably landed on this site because you’re curious about the Shake Weight for Men.  You probably want to know does the shake weight for men really work and what kind of results you can expect.

I’m no fitness expert…just a guy that likes to keep in decent shape.  So I’m not going to bore you with all the medical research and data behind this device.  Instead, I’m just going to give you my thoughts on the Shake Weight and let you judge for yourself.

If you want, you can get the info straight from the source by visiting the official site here:

Or you can read on to find out what at least one guy thinks about this workout tool.

My guess is that, like me, you saw some commercial on TV advertising the Shake Weight.  And if you’re like me, you were wondering two things: (1) Is this just another poorly-made piece of exercise equipment? and (2) Does the shake weight actually work?.

A Quality Piece of Equipment

I’ve purchased a lot of exercise equipment over the years, either to change up my exercise routine a bit, to help isolate a certain set of muscles or to just help give me a little bit of an “edge”.  One of biggest gripes with some of this stuff is when you end up getting some cheap piece of junk that falls apart after a few weeks of using it.  Exercise equipment should be sturdy enough to handle a pretty intense workout…the Shake Weight definitely comes through on this.

It’s built of hard, rigid plastic and has metal parts on either end.  In terms of construction, I’m pretty happy with how the Shake Weight is put together, so no worries there.

Works Great (for Most People)

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the results I get from the Shake Weight. But whether or not you’ll feel the same way depends on what you’re trying to achieve.  If you’re hoping to really build mass in your chest and arms, it’s pretty naive to think this little device is going to get the job done, at least not on its own, so don’t let the clips of those ripped guys on the commercial fool you.

But…the Shake Weight will give you an excellent arm/chest workout and is good for building or maintaining muscle tone in those areas.  I definitely understand the parts of the commercial where those dudes are grunting, shaking the crap out of this thing.  If you try doing that for the 6 minute routine they recommend and your arms aren’t burning, then you must be huge already.

Bottom Line

If you’re looking for a low-cost piece of exercise equipment that will turn you into a hulk, look elsewhere.  But if you’re more practical and just want something that will help you build muscle tone in your chest and arms or something that you can use in addition to your regular workout routine, the Shake Weight is a great option.

Plus, you can always give it a shot and return it within 30 days if you’re not happy, so you really have nothing to lose.  I’m really happy I gave it a shot.  Good luck!
